Inspired by the world of Moomin, this is more than a café. It’s
a space designed for curiosity, comfort and everyday rituals.
A place where beautifully crafted drinks meet timeless
storytelling, and where every detail invites you to slow down
and explore.
At the heart of the experience is CUPP - a global speciality
drinks brand known for premium matcha, barista-quality
coffee and expertly crafted boba. Using high-quality
ingredients, refined techniques and a design-led approach,
we create drinks that are as considered as they are visually
striking.
Set within an immersive, thoughtfully designed environment,
CUPP x Moomin Café blends nostalgia with modern craft.
Whether you’re discovering Moominvalley for the first time or
returning to it, this is a space to pause, connect and enjoy
something truly special.

The story of CUPP
It all began way back in 2009 whilst the founders of CUPP lived on the island that brought bubble tea to the world: Taiwan! After falling in love with the country, food, people, and the national drink, they thought what better way to bring an integral part of their life back to the UK than opening an authentic bubble tea shop.
Spending their days sampling Taiwan’s huge variety of bubble tea shops, from small vendors to bubble tea franchises to tea growers in remote parts of the island. The founders of CUPP learned the true origins and authentic techniques of bubble tea and trained in a small independent tea shop in Kaohsiung to perfect this famous tea drink.

About Moomin
The Moomins are the central characters in a series of books and comics, originally published in Swedish in Finland, by Swedish-Finn illustrator and writer Tove Jansson. They are a family of white and roundish trolls with large snouts.
The carefree and adventurous family live in their house in Moominvalley, though their temporary residences have also included a lighthouse and a floating theatre. From Moominvalley, they embark on many adventures with their various friends.
